Question: What are the dimensions of this product? How deep should I drill the hole for the spring & ball mechanism? If the hole is over 3/4" deep, can you refer me to a smaller product?

Answer: Please refer to the installation template under the "Technical Documents" tab for all of the specifications. This item requires a 1.5" hole for the mechanism.
